HAPPY BIRTHDAY LADIES!!!!

Announcements

Congratulations Venora and Lauren on your Baptisms and Confirmations last weekend!! We are so glad that you ladies are in our ward! :)

Volley Ball is Thursday nights at 8:30

Humanitarian Project:
This week we are collecting toothpaste and deodorant for the Womens Crisis Center. If you are able, please pick one or two of these items up and bring to church and put them in the basket on Sunday. It will really bless the lives of other women who are in need.

Young Men Fundraiser
The young men are making pizza's that are oven/freezer ready to earn money for our scout troop. They will be assembled and ready to go
on Aug 3rd. Please look for a Sign up sheet to order your pizzas! They are offering cheese or pepperoni and each is only $10, lets do our best to support them! You can pay with a tithing slip under "other" and write "YM Fundraiser".

Preparedness classes are back!!! Brother and sister Gates will be doing them at the Crismon Building at 7 pm. This is really important information because we really need to start working on our long term storage and other items before it is too late. Classes include things like getting your fall garden ready, solar cooking (Coming soon), how to store food, canning, etc. Pretty much, just tell them what you want to know and they can design a class to teach you. It is so great to have them as a resource, let's take advantage of this opportunity!

-If anyone is need of a washer and dryer or a nice queen sized headboard contact Sister Brown. Her phone number is (480) 272-5853

Super Saturday Crafts

Don't forget to look for the sign up sheets for Super Saturday on Sunday Mornings :) We will also be offering "How To" classes. One will be boys haircuts. (Relief Society will not be held responsible if you give your child a bad haircut :)....... ) The other class will be on how to make strawberry jam.

Here are samples for Super Saturday!!

Apron.

To make apron, you will need one yard of fabric, for the one that goes around your waist. IF you want the "bib" or full apron, you need 1 1/2 yds.

With the full apron, the top part is actually buttoned on to the waistband and can be removed. You will also need trim, such as lace if you desire, and we will be getting the information on how much of that to bring.
For the trim, you need 3/4 yd of lace and binding if you are doing the bib part, plus 3 buttons.

Pillowcases.

Make fun pillow cases for any holiday.
Bring your own fabric and we will help you get them sewn up! It takes 1/2 yd of one fabric and 1/4 for the matching. These are easy and make cute gifts. Make a birthday one, a Christmas one, Halloween, you name it.

Christmas Cards. $1.00 for set of two.

Hair clips. Each are $1.75. Headband not included.

The Countdown to Christmas blocks. $6

Lucky Blocks $6.00

Temple blocks. We are offering these as a FREE craft. Everyone can do one free. If you would like to do more than one, the cost is $1.50. You can choose the temple you wish to do from the list when you sign up.
